A Two-Headed Hydra Is Coming Your Way!

Good Morning everyone! Hope your day is going well so far. It is raining outside my window leaving me to my third cup of coffee, so as you can well imagine, I am jittering the entire time I write this! But, I bring great news! In three weeks (May 21st) my book, “A Soldier’s Allegiance,” will be released!!! Thank you all so much for helping me achieve this exciting dream. Now, I’m sure you’re wondering what the second head of this Hydra is? Well, I’m glad you’re so curious. The second surprise is my first sci-fi novella, “Himmel-Welt,” will be released a week later (May 28th)! Both books, upon their release will be free on kindle devices for the first three days they are on sale!

“A Soldier’s Allegiance” is the remake of my original book “Allegiance of a Soldier.” As the years have passed, I have found my writing technique to evolve and better fit the story that needed to be told. This retelling is far darker and, unlike the original which was made for young teens, is made for a slightly older crowd. It is about Aran Rabastre, a soldier of the country Rairal. One night, while Aran is alone in the forest, he is arrested for unknown crimes. While he is in prison he discovers a revolution is being plotted against his country’s leaders. He must now decide to break free of his bonds and choose to chase those who imprisoned him, or help bring an end to a revolution that would tear Rairal at its seams. Lots of sword fighting and betrayal had by all in this dark-fantasy adventure!

“Himmel-Welt” is an alternate-history sci-fi novella that was inspired by a short story I wrote just over a year ago (That’s right! This dragon has a cybernetic eye and a laser-pistol aimed for ya). An early 20th century battle-scarred offizier of Germany hopes to find peace amongst his travels in the luxury air-ship Himmel-Welt. But, his peace is short lived when he discovers a band of sky-pirates, who call themselves the Outriders board, killing all those they don’t wish to sell into the galactic slave-trade. He then discovers the Kaiser’s daughter is on the ship and must make the dreadful decision: save the girl, or risk his own life in a slim-chance of saving the ship. This is also a dark adventure story.
